Hello all, I need to make a correction on my pattern “Pecking order” . To make the pinwheel block you need to cut 12 x 3″ square ( not 4 1/2″) then trace a line on the diagonal. Do the same with the small floral fabric. You also need to cut an extra 4 1/2″ x 2 3/4 ” strip which is for the bottom right of the last band where the chooks are pulling at the worm.
Spain was beautiful, full of life and colours and I have enough inspiration to make dozens of quilts(just need the time …. My garden was on the wild side when I came back so I have spent some time weeding and planting. I also made few miniature quilts and Christmas ornaments, lots of fun.
And here is a little treat for you for Christmas ( not fattening !!).
Enjoy it and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
The pattern can be found there : Fleurs Pattern
Spain here I come …. I will be off for a couple of weeks visiting Barcelona and Granada and getting a lot of inspirations for more projects. I also will meet my Mum there and on getting back home I will post a new project (free to download) to stitch, in time for Christmas.
With spring in full bloom, summer just around the corner and those gorgeous new fabrics from Chez Moi it was to irresistible not to make a quilt.
I am lucky to have five chickens and I love to observe their comportment, especially if you give them cooked spaghettis, good stress relief.
Hope you will enjoy making your own chooks as much as I have.
