The Bee Quilt pattern

The Bee Quilt pattern is a sampler quilt. It  allowes you to play with your choice of fabrics but also gives you a chance to try different methods on a block.

The Bee Quilt is a whimsical pattern. Each blocks will teaches you  a different technique of quilting , either paper piecing or EPP, needle turn appliqué, or embroidery from the simplest embroidery to the more elaborate embroidery. And machine piecing is of course a part of a quilter’s journey.

The pattern has also coloured photos in order to help you choose the perfect fabric or have a better look at details.

Some of the blocks like the Orange Tree, the Rose and Sunflowers are big blocks hence making needle turn appliqué easier to try.

You will learn to make Dresden Plate ( the Sunflower block) and Churn Dash blocks ( filler blocks), on the machine but always with the option of hand piecing.
