Caprice has an elegant composition of large numbers of  flowers, all different, making it an interesting and always entertaining appliqué. It has  even an artichoke. Add a couple of birds and you can feel summer is in the air.

It is a wonderful project to work on as it gives you room for some creativity. Made in a mix of reproduction style fabrics to give it a timeless look.

Long bias strips with half flowers nestled in the inner curves frames the centre beautifully.
