Isabelle - Full Pattern

“Isabelle” is my version of an antique quilt. 24 blocks of pure joy. You will create a whole garden with this quilt. Lots of appliqué but the big shapes makes it easier. And it will appeal to a quilter who wants to improve its needle turn skills.

Also wonderful to use all those special fabrics you have been putting aside for the ” right” project.Especially with the lovely vases you can play with. Some blocks in “Isabelle”  like the currants and the cherry tree have lots of circles, some English paper piecing (EPP) is involve as well. And in my version of this antique quilt I have put big sun in each corners  that could be hand pieced or machine pieced.

Flowers made out of hexagons, diamonds shapes, currants and cherries and even some birds. And baskets to go with it. And of course big sun in each corner of the garden.

“Isabelle” is for the gardener at heart and the quilter who likes a bit of a challenge (it is a big quilt), but ladies have said it was so nice to make they didn’t want it to stop..

“Isabelle”pattern is my version of an antique quilt. You can do it as a block of the month, it will run for 12 months (2 and sometimes 3 patterns per month). I have made sure to keep it doable…. Also the pattern includes two version to make the baskets one by hand and the other by machine. Your choice.
