Provence is a very popular and timeless pattern.
The warm colours of the South of France and the boutis style from the south of France are the main features in the pattern Provence. It is a wonderful pattern for using some of the fabrics from previous projects.
The sunflower blocks are hand piecing while the butterfly blocks are appliqué. And a lovely wavy border adds some charm. Add some clamshells for a perfect finish.
The different backgrounds of the appliqué blocks adds interest to Provence. And by using different colour combinations you are making a truly unique quilt.
